IP PBX

A Private Branch Exchange or PBX is a telephone switching system that operates within an enterprise. An IP enabled PBX means the PBX is capable of sending calls to VoIP.co.uk directly using IP protocols. VoIP.co.uk supports the common VoIP protocol SIP. An IP PBX may also be capable of supporting IP telephone handsets directly, rather than legacy Analogue or Digital handsets.

One of the main advantages of installing an IP PBX at your business is that the Voice and Data network converge. This beings greater flexibility with reduced implementation and support costs.

The VoIP.co.uk SIP trunk product, VST, empowers an IP enabled PBX providing the connection to the PSTN and can be linked into our VST teleworker product for roaming / home users.
